That’s where the The Supporting Act Foundation comes in. In fact, getting a foot in the door can often feel impossible, especially for people from marginalized backgrounds. But when it comes to honing that potential into tangible talent or a sustainable career, the arts have a reputation for being pretty elite. It is a non-profit that believes everyone and anyone can have artistic potential. We are so passionate about in fact that we founded The Supporting Act Foundation. When I joined the company we were approximately 200 people in 4 countries and now we are over 850 in 6 countries.all in the space of just 20 months □ For those that work in HR/People teams you can only imagine the wild ride we have been on as a team and company! We regularly host events to talk about design, advertising, UX principles, and product development (the exciting, problem-solving and innovative kind of engineering, not the boring kind). We support and contribute to the open source software community-every engineer is given a yearly allowance to donate to an open source project that is dear to them. In 2019, it helped abolish $35 million in medical debt for low-income residents of Los Angeles. To date, WeTransfer has donated more than $300 million worth in advertising inventory, raising awareness for issues such as gun control and net neutrality, and give visibility to organizations such as s the Nelson Mandela Foundation, the UN Development Program, and the World Wildlife Fund.
